Static and Portable Compactors – A Lot of Waste in One Place
The Orwak Range of Compactors are used to compact large volumes of wet, dry and mixed waste, eliminating the need for multiple bins and containers on site and multiple collections.
Why a Portable Compactor?
Typically a portable compactor is used for wet and mixed waste, where there is an amount of liquid in there. The portable compactor is a sealed unit, and so is emptied in its entirety. Dependent on the amount of liquid in the waste, a drain plug or underfloor tank can be included.
With both types of compactor, the transport element of waste collection is drastically reduced, in addition to the reduction of bins and containers required on site.
The Static and Portable Compactors can be fed by hopper, hand feed, bin lifter, forklift, via a chute, through a wall, or from a dock/platform etc.

Manufacturers, Distribution Centres, Warehouses, Recyclers, Waste Plants and any business that produces a large amount of waste.
Why a Static Compactor?
A static compactor is permanently positioned on the ground, with a container attached that is emptied and replaced with an empty container. This immediate replacement of waste container allows the business to continue to compact waste with very little downtime. The containers can be various sizes and so is quite flexible to the business needs.
