We have been Orwak Easi UK Ltd for 1 year – Happy 1st Birthday to us.

Back on the 3rd January 2017 Easi Recycling UK Ltd became Orwak Easi UK ltd after being bought by Orwak AB in Sweden.
The merger has created one of the UK’s largest suppliers of waste machinery and baling equipment in the UK.
We won’t lie, we’ve had some challenges along the way, but it has been an outstanding success. We have grown, improved and are continuing to go from strength to strength.

We now cover the whole of the UK
We have been able to cover the whole of the UK since January 2017.
As a result we opened a second office and warehouse in Willenhall, in the West Midlands, to better cover the country.
We also held our official launch there in March 2017 to highlight what Orwak Easi UK Ltd is about and the products we are able to supply.
It was great to see new and familiar faces there, and we have built some fabulous relationships since.
What else has happened in 2017…….
- We have been raising money for Children with Cancer UK – so far we have raised £1,112.36. We will update the total shortly when we, as a company, have matched the donations, and announce 2018’s charity.
- 2017 saw us partner with some great companies. For example; working with The National Body Repair Association (NBRA) to help their members achieve their ‘Sustainability Award’ by offering waste solutions to suit the individual bodyshops needs.
- 2017 saw us become Safe Contractor approved once again. This ensures we work to highly tested standards to provide reassurance to all of our customers and suppliers. Read more here.
- We were named as one of The Top 100 businesses in York. The results were based on an algorithm of different information to form the list. We were very proud to be included. To find out more click here.
- Our lead Engineer, Andy Sayer, became a Grandad for the first time. Congratulations again.
- Our General Manager, Jackie Allen, and Office Administrator, Vera Summerscales, celebrated BIG birthdays…..their ages are top secret though.
- Our Sales Specialist for Scotland, Paul Lyell, became a Grandad to twins. That’s a handful!
We saw the Year out as Pirates
We celebrated the success of 2017 and the end of the year with a party on-board a boat on the River Ouse, dressed appropriately, as Pirates for the occasion.
It was a great opportunity to wind down with colleagues after a busy year. Take a look at our efforts.
What will 2018 bring?
The team look forward to heading into 2018, our second year as Orwak Easi UK Ltd.
We will continue our hard work and success, helping more businesses to achieve their waste requirements.
We will build strong partnerships with suppliers and organisations, to offer the best solutions for every business across the UK.
Here are a few things we have planned and will keep you posted about;
- We will pick a new Charity to support throughout 2018 – this will include the Orwak Easi team competing in some fun events throughout the year.
- We plan on expanding our sales and servicing team to better provide the country with a great service.
- Throughout the year we will run competitions and offers to benefit you all.
- New products – rumour has it we will have some new products to help you recycle more and more.
- New Partnerships – we have some new partners in the pipeline who we will work closely with.
