Orwak Easi UK Ltd – Newsletter 2021

We know it is later than our usual New Year newsletter, isn’t everything at the moment? So firstly, Happy New Year. We have everything crossed that 2021 is brighter for everyone.

We hope all our customers and suppliers, old and new, are keeping safe and well. Especially after the last 12 months.

Here at Orwak Easi UK Ltd we thought it was about time to keep you updated about what we have been doing and what we have planned for 2021.

Throughout the last 12 months we have been constantly working quietly in the background. Supporting our customers who have also worked throughout this pandemic. If you follow us on social media you will have also seen some of the new work we have been doing to continue to save customers money and waste from going to landfill.

What have we been doing?

Continuing to Support our Customers

Like I mentioned above we have been working throughout the last 12 months. Like most companies we have faced difficulties and worked with minimal staff for safety and restriction purposes.

It has been difficult times for everyone and we have tried to support customers in every way we can.

Our main focus has been to maintain machines in keyworker businesses. So those machines in hospitals, pharmaceuticals, supermarkets, distribution etc.

But that isn’t all. We have also been working to save other businesses money where we can. New and refurbished machines have been installed to implement new recycling procedures across the board.

We believe after everything that has happened over the year it is more important than ever to try and save businesses money. We are still offering our FREE, no obligation, waste audits to new and existing customers to see what we can do for you. Contact us here.

Check out the photos of these installs.

Volunteering

Whilst some of our staff have worked reduced hours and remotely,  they haven’t stopped.

Many of our employees have been volunteering in their local community. Whether that be shopping, collecting prescriptions, directing traffic, gardening etc. They have covered all sorts and we are so proud that they used their time to help others.

New Life in 2020

Just before the pandemic started to change everyone’s day to day life in 2020, our Marketing Administrator, Amie, went on maternity leave. On the 4th April under Covid restrictions, Amie gave birth to her second son Finley.

After what must have been the strangest and toughest time with a new born, Amie is now back at work with us. A huge congratulations to her and all her family, its’s great to have some lovely news in the middle of this chaos!

Orwak reaches the big 5-0 !

In such a strange year, we celebrate Orwak’s 50th Birthday. Maybe not celebrating in the way we normally would or could, but a huge milestone nonetheless.

Our Swedish factory has supplied quality compactors, balers and brickette machines all over the world for 5 decades. Our belief in quality and customer service has always been our priority and will continue to be.

From the humble beginnings of the 5030 bag compactor which is the same design now as it was at the beginning, to the development of the Power Range of Balers that provide industry leading technology and safety. Orwak continues to adapt and develop in an ever changing world of Waste Solutions.

Through this year we will be sharing some of our stories and developments to celebrate what we have achieved together as the Orwak family.

2021

With light at the end of the tunnel and an end to lockdown measures in sight, our biggest hope is to see all our family and friends first and foremost. We need happy staff to keep our customers happy.

Going forward for the company we understand many businesses will have to look at making some savings and we think waste and recycling processes are a good place to start.

A process which is often overlooked, especially if measures have been in place for a long time. We want to help you save time, space and money.

We have plenty of success stories, even throughout lockdown, where savings have been made and improvements have been implemented.
