During these really difficult and strange times, everyone is trying in their own way to help their families, friends, colleagues and neighbours in the community.
Its been amazing to see the good things going on across the country, so we thought we’d share what some of our staff have been doing over the last few weeks. Meet Kerrie…
Kerrie is our Sales Director at Orwak. With the social restrictions in place and so many people needing vital support, Kerrie had to find ways to use whatever skills she had to offer help.
Through the Wilmslow Self-Isolation Support Group, Kerrie became a local Street Champion for her local community. Running an essential Whatsapp group, delivering leaflets, collecting prescriptions and doing essential shopping for those self-isolating and vulnerable, this has understandably got busier as the weeks go on.
She is also doing volunteer shifts for Wilmslow Medical Centre and surrounding pharmacies, keeping people safe in potentially frustrating times for people needing medical care and prescriptions.
And to try to help in a different way, Kerrie has also shaved her hair in support of the National Emergenies Trust Coronavirus Appeal. Kerries ‘Cut Off Coronavirus’ appeal has so far raised £473.50 but wants to raise much more. This appeal is providing vital funds to help organisations and charities help the most vulnerable during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Please help raise this amount by donating here:
